Performance investigation of a loop heat pipe integrated with thermoelectric cooler under acceleration field

This paper presents an experimental investigation on a novel dual compensation chamber loop heat pipe (DCCLHP) integrated with thermoelectric cooler (TEC) for improving the overall performance under various acceleration conditions. The operating characteristics of DCCLHP and without assistance TEC configurations A B are analyzed systematically different magnitudes loads. load evaporator ranges from 25 W to 300 power is 10 W. magnitude 5 g 13 g. Experimental results show that: (i) application proved improve not exceeding 150 configuration 100 B; (ii) B, increase normally leads temperature decrease thermal conductance. While it shows no obvious effect most cases. maximum conductance 56.7 °C at while 20.7 W/K A; (iii) fluctuation occurs both 7 whereas there A. can change vapor-liquid distribution in external pressure drop, which will further along effect. research provide valuable insight into influence field, great significance its practical mechanical aerospace engineering.
